CONTROL UNIT
Control unit - It controls the system's functions. The parameters can be configured over 4 buttons "ESC", "ENTER", "UP" and "DOWN". They are all displayed on nice LCD display. On the left side of the control unit there's a connector for connection with activation buttons from steering wheel. On the right side there's a connector for connection with the power unit. Units are separated because of easier installation in the vehicle. On the top side of the unit there's a USB connector for debugging and further updating of the firmware.
POWER UNIT
Power unit - It provides power to the system and it converts signals from control unit to power outputs for TRANSBRAKE and LINE-LOCK. It also provides LAUNCH CONTROL signal output. On the left side there's a power connector and connector for connection with control unit. On the right side there are three output connectors "TRANSBRAKE", "LINE-LOCK" and "LAUNCH CONTROL". In the center there are two standard car fuses for safety of the power outputs (transbrake & line-lock).
WIRING DIAGRAM
USAGE
  1. When in pre stage area, driver steps on brake pedal and press & hold the       "RELEASE" (left) button, then release the brake pedal. Now the line-lock is activate and you can warm up your tires. After that release left button.
  2. Then you go slowly forward and turn on the first light. After that you need to step on the brake pedal, that is important for better staging of the car on the starting line, because with the transbrake activated, the line-lock is also activated and it holds front tires, which prevents the jumping of the car forward and backward when staging.
  3. Then press & hold the "ACTIVATE" (right) button and rew the engine to launch control limiter and spool the turbo. Keep holding "ACTIVATE" (right) button and click on "RELEASE" (left) button. The transbrake will release for pre-adjusted time and pre-adjusted number of steps.
After warming up the tires, slowly go forward and turn on the first light. Then you need to step on the breake pedal, that is important for better staging of the car on the starting line, because with the transbrake activated, the line-lock is also activated and it holds front tires, which prevents the jumping of the car forward and backward when staging. With this function, you can not jump over both lights. If you observe the cars without that, when staging, the car jumps forward and back for the amount of the play in the drivetrain (the tranny, driveshaft, rear end...) It is a few cm at the end. With using line-lock while transbrake the jumping is prevented! If you have no line-lock, there is no problem with that, you just don't wire it on the device.
LINE-LOCK WHILE TRANSBRAKE

  • RELEASE TIME:  Time of the transbrake-release in milliseconds (ms).
  • DELAY TIME: Time of the delay between multiple steps of transbrake-release. Repeat time must be more than 1!
  • REPEAT NUMBER: Number of steps to be repeated. If this parameter is 1 then delay time and repeat number will be "N/A"!
